In 2007, MSMF received several awards for its service to the community including: The Desert Oasis Award for Outstanding Outreach from the Arizona Department of Education, and The Western Regional Award from United States Department of Agriculture.
These awards were given for MSMF outstanding work through its summer food program which outreached and served over two thousand (2000) low income youth and disable adults during the summer.
